Modern brand activation and international marketing demand absolute technical agility. In this case study, Ian Taylor of TPG explains how migrating to Coreprint enabled their Media Hub platform to effortlessly coordinate complex, multi-language global print portals while maintaining an uninterrupted ten-year corporate relationship.

Key Takeaways from the Trenches

  • Global Supply-Chain Readiness: Successfully managing multi-region, multi-currency corporate portals supporting thousands of international users across different languages and complex tax exchange rates.
  • No-Compromise On Demand Deployment: The agility to launch simple setups in under two hours, or scale up to complex, database-driven print workflows without imposing functional limitations on the client.
  • Seamless API Integration: Bypassing the rigid walls of legacy web-to-print systems by leveraging flexible developer tools to sync Coreprint technology straight into wider automation stacks.

Enterprise Implementation & Workflows

How does Coreprint support global supply chains and multi-language brand portals?

In the early days of our media hub platform we approach Vpress with a specific requirement for one of our new clients we needed to manage seven head office locations around the world four different languages different currencies tax exchange rates payment methods um and I think approximately about 5 thousand individual users globally um that project was a huge success that was eight years ago and to this day now we still have that client

Q. How has the evolution of TPG influenced your reliance on print technology?

"TPG started as a print management business about 26 years ago and, as our client needs have changed, so have our service offerings. We have now evolved into an international marketing and brand activation specialist.

Although we are a people business, technology is at the forefront of our offering and our clients rely on a stable and agile technology solution. A significant part of that growth is linked to our investment in technology. Clients rely on the efficiencies and accessibility that leading technology delivers, and that is no different with Vpress."

Q. Why did you choose Vpress as your brand portal technology partner?

"We decided to go with Vpress for our brand portal module because of the wide range of tools and services that Vpress has to offer. The speed in which we can set a full working system live without any compromises for the client, the efficiency, everything included - and that is all down to Vpress. We think that is a really strategic advantage for TPG.

In the early days of our Media Hub platform, we approached Vpress with a specific requirement for one of our new clients. We needed to manage seven head office locations around the world, four different languages, different currencies, tax, exchange rates, payment methods, and approximately 5,000 individual users globally.

That project was a huge success. That was eight years ago, and to this day now, we still have that client. That client is still using Vpress, and the relationship is absolutely great."

Q. How has having Coreprint embedded under the hood transformed your client offerings?

"Using Vpress within our Media Hub platform, we have been able to take a proactive approach towards technology and our offering to clients, constantly improving and updating the tools on offer. We can do the same back to our clients.

For example, we have templates set up where we can automatically pull product information for a retail chain directly into a template from their own product database. Tools like that are so important to us to be able to give that same flexibility back to our clients.

The most valuable part of Vpress we find is the versatility. We can deploy a simple setup within a couple of hours, or we can actually dive into detail and build all of that deep functionality and process that we need. Also, pairing Vpress within our brand portal and using the API tools, we can integrate Vpress into our other processes and other automations as seamlessly as possible."

Q. How would you describe the day-to-day working relationship with the Vpress team?

"We have a great working relationship with Vpress that is underpinned by a responsive, agile, and really helpful support team. At TPG, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is achievable with Media Hub, and Vpress have almost become an extension to our own team.

Prior to using Vpress, we had used some other web-to-print solutions, but we found that the services and some of the functionalities just couldn't match what we needed to achieve with our clients. Now, by using Vpress, we are constantly coming up with new innovations and new features that we have been able to pass on to our clients and help strengthen that relationship.

I would definitely recommend Vpress. It is a great product backed by a great team who are always on hand to help and support."
